How many nights does a Hokkaido chapter need?
Ski weeks: five to seven at one resort with a Sapporo bookend. Summer circuits: four to six covering Sapporo, Furano-Biei and Otaru. Full northern loops adding Hakodate stretch toward eight. Less than three nights wastes the flight north.
Winter self-drive or driven?
Driven, almost always: icy roads, snow squalls and short days argue for our winter-certified drivers, leaving clients the scenery. Summer flips the answer - the Furano-Biei farm roads are Japan's best gentle self-drive for confident clients.
