Flight Delays, Cancellations & Missed Flights
In the event that you have missed your flight, or your flight is delayed or cancelled, you must notify us immediately by calling our emergency number as soon as possible. Last-minute changes — especially for shared services — are difficult to accommodate. Rescheduling charges may apply and will be communicated to you in advance.
Maximum Driver Waiting Times
- Airport transfer (International flight) — 60 minutes after actual landing time
- Airport transfer (Domestic flight) — 45 minutes after actual landing time
- Train station transfer — 20 minutes after arrival of the train
- Theme park and hotel transfers — No waiting time. The driver must leave immediately. Please be at the Meeting Point 10 minutes before pick-up time. This is due to strict parking limitations at these locations.
Confirming Your Driver
Before boarding, please ask the driver to confirm your name and destination (e.g. your hotel). Vb Japan DMC is not responsible if you board the wrong vehicle.
Shuttle & Shared Transfers
For shuttle and shared transfers, ensure the driver is holding your name card and booking details before boarding. If we upgrade your transfer from shared taxi to charter taxi, no additional payment to the driver is required.
Driver Instructions
Do not instruct the driver to change your location or pick-up time directly, and do not place any onward bookings with them. All changes must be communicated through Vb Japan DMC.
Baggage
Each passenger may carry one piece of checked baggage and one piece of hand luggage. For shuttle and shared transfers, additional baggage is not accepted without pre-booking. Please declare any extra luggage in advance as separate arrangements will need to be made and additional charges will apply.
If You Cannot Locate Your Driver
If you have difficulty finding your driver, contact your travel agent or the emergency contact specified on your booking voucher. You may also leave a message in the WhatsApp group chat provided.
Wi-Fi & Mobile Connectivity — Airports
All airports in Japan are equipped with free Wi-Fi. Please turn on your mobile phone immediately upon landing and stay connected to Wi-Fi until you have met your driver.
Wi-Fi & Mobile Connectivity — Seaports & Stations
For seaport, train station and other arrivals, ensure your mobile phone is switched on and connected to the internet at all times until you have met your driver.
Point-to-Point Service
All transfers are point-to-point services and are not available on a disposal basis unless explicitly stated in your itinerary or booking confirmation.
